Responsibilities
- Examine a project’s requirements in terms of labor, materials, and time.
- Costs should be estimated by taking the complete project into consideration.
- Provide upper management with cost estimates phase wise.
- Prepare reports that detail all of the expenses associated with a project.
- Enter cost information into the company’s database.
- Take note of the discrepancies between the estimated and actual costs.
- Examine the project’s customer requirements.
Prepare proposals in collaboration with the sales staff.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 years of estimate experience Ability to work independently.
Ability to put together a good presentation. - Ability to develop reports based on costing data.
- Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to decipher technical drawings and specifications.
- A thorough understanding of how processes work.
